Seamless aluminum gutters are custom-formed to fit the home's measurements, eliminating seams along continuous gutter runs. Corners require inside or outside miters, with joints sealed using gutter-specific sealant designed to withstand outdoor conditions. John uses heavy-duty hidden hangers for secure attachment and carefully establishes the proper gutter pitch so rainwater flows toward the downspouts and away from the home.
John Fischer began measuring and installing gutter systems in Maryland in the early 2000s and has served North Carolina homeowners since 2012. He evaluates each home's rooflines, runoff, downspout locations, and fascia condition before recommending a layout. Gutters must be attached to solid, structurally sound fascia free of rot. John does not provide fascia repair or replacement, so any necessary fascia work must be completed before gutter installation.
We serve homeowners in Clayton, Raleigh, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Johnston County, southern Wake County, and surrounding service areas.
What Goes Into a Proper Gutter Installation?
Gutter Options & Appearance
Our standard installation features 5-inch seamless aluminum gutters, available in a variety of colors to complement your siding, roof, trim, or shutters. John may recommend 6-inch gutters for certain metal roofs when additional capacity is needed, or for larger homes and wide fascia boards where a bigger profile looks more balanced. Each system is custom-fitted to your home's roofline.
Downspouts & Drainage
John calculates the roof area to determine the proper number and placement of downspouts. Our standard installations include oversized 3-by-4-inch downspouts to help water exit the gutters efficiently. He also establishes the proper gutter pitch to keep rainwater moving toward the downspouts instead of collecting in the gutters. It's all about managing water effectively and directing it away from your home.
Installation Details
John installs heavy-duty hidden hangers spaced 24 inches apart for a strong, secure attachment to the fascia board. Corners and joints are carefully sealed with gutter-specific sealant to help prevent leaks. Every installation is owner-led, with attention to proper fastening, clean workmanship, and the small details that make a difference in long-term performance. The result is a gutter system designed to work as well as it looks.
Gutter Replacement: Repair or Start Fresh?
Not every gutter problem requires replacement. John handles select gutter repairs when a practical, lasting solution is possible. For specific repair requests, customers can text photos of the problem and receive a free quote without an in-person visit.
If you're unsure whether your gutters should be repaired or replaced, John offers a thorough on-site evaluation for $150. He examines the condition of the existing gutters, attachment points, gutter pitch, and drainage to help determine the best course of action. If you choose to hire us for the recommended work, the $150 evaluation fee is credited toward your quote.
All remote estimates are free, and we offer discounts for military members, seniors, and cash payments. Whether repair or replacement makes the most sense, you'll receive a straightforward recommendation based on your home's needs—not pressure to purchase unnecessary work.
